GRAND PRIX CIRCUIT RULES & REGULATIONS
MEMBERSHIP DUES MUST BE PAID BEFORE A RACE TO RECEIVE POINTS !!!
At each event please look for the Mohegan Striders sign up sheet. This will be clearly marked by our red flag.
It is usually in the registration area unless the race finishes in a different location, then it will be at the finish line.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SIGN IT !! IF FOR ANY REASON YOU DO NOT SIGN THE SHEET,
YOU WILL NOT GET POINTS FOR RUNNING OR ATTENDING THAT EVENT !!
We thank you for your co-operation and have a great year of running.
SCORING IS AS FOLOWS:
100 POINTS FOR 1ST CLUB FINISHER, 95 FOR 2ND CLUB FINISHER, ETC.
POINTS ARE AWARDED FOR EACH AGE GROUP
MALE & FEMALE DIVISIONS -
<20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70>
BASED ON AGE AS OF MARCH 1, 2011. AWARDS TO TOP 3 STRIDERS PER DIV.
1. RACE ATTENDANCE = 10 PTS
2. NORWICH REC RUNS ATTENDANCE = 10 PTS/WEEK
(additional 15 pts for volunteering)
3. DELANEY DASH VOLUNTEER OR WALK = 25 PTS
(all participants)
4. MEETING ATTENDANCE = 25 PTS
(Reminder post cards will be mailed in advance of meetings)
5. VOLUNTEERING TO REPRESENT STRIDERS AT EVENTS OTHER THAN RACES = 25 PTS
6. STRIDER PICNIC ATTENDANCE = 25 PTS
7. KELLEY RACE VOLUNTEER = 25 PTS

8. PENGUINS VOLUNTEER OR WALK = 25 PTS
(all participants)
9. AWARDS BANQUET ATTENDANCE = 25 PTS
10. PROMOTE THE TEAM!!!!! WEAR STRIDER GEAR
AT GRAND PRIX EVENTS FOR 5 EXTRA POINTS!!!!!!
11. TOMMY TOY FUN RUN = 30 PTS (Receive double points if you sign up for 2011 Strider)
