NEW !!! Runner-to-Runner contact list: In response to feedback from members who can't make the set weekly runs but would like to hook up with other members to coordinate times/locations to run together, we've started a Runner-to-Runner email list. The concept is simple - you provide your email address to the coordinator at running4me1@sbcglobal.net and your email address is added to the list. Someone on the list will send out a request for others to join up for a run time/location (normally weekly) and you can respond if you're interested. It's as simple as that. One requirement - to be on the list you must be a member. For safety, all on the list are encouraged to ensure you know who you'll be running with before you go

Thursday Night Runs in Mystic
Weekly Thursday evening group runs from the RiverWalk Restaurant, Holmes Street, Mystic beginning at 6:00pm. Distance/speed up to those who attend. Group usually goes out and back on River Road for 6.25 miles. Contact: John Trahan (860-501-8404). Remember, Strider members get 10% discount on the total amount of their check (excluding tax and tip) anytime at the RiverWalk
Saturday Slug RunSeries
9:00 AM - Various locations from January through April SEE PHOTOS
Short and long courses each week. Slug Runs for 2011 start January 8th. Contact: Bob Buckingham
